The Capitol Area Council is coordinating a contingent of 12 crews with 12 members each to Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico in the summer of 2003.  This web site is designed for these crews, their members, and other interested parties to share information about the trek.

WAMI!:

WE ALL MADE IT!

At the closing campfire on July 4, all 12 crews were awarded their WAMI (We All Made It!) plaque.  With great weather and great crews, everyone (all 143 participants) had a great time.

Upcoming Contingent activities:
 

• Maps to complete the map order will be available in the next few days.  Crew advisors who were missing maps from the original order will be notified when they are available and where they may be picked up.
   
• If your crew has digital photos they would like to have loaded to this website, please contact Sid Covington to discuss how it can be done.
   
• I want to thank everyone for making this contingent a success -- it was truly a complete team effort.
