Transportation

Travel between Philmont and Austin will be on chartered 57-passenger busses. Crews are assigned to busses as shown below:

Bus Assignments			# Crewmembers per bus						Current plans are for the busses to pick up and return to the REI Parking lot in the Gateway Shopping Center (near Loop 360 and US 183). If you drive your car to the REI Parking lot, please arrange to have it picked up as soon as possible. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR IN REI'S PARKING LOT WHILE WE ARE AT PHILMONT -- IT WILL BE TOWED!

* Harry Zimmerman, Mike Moriarty, and Cary McGregor are the Bus Leaders for each bus. They are responsible for obtaining drinks and snacks, bringing coolers, and obtaining video's to be watched on the trips. Participant with special requests, should contact their bus leader at least two weeks prior to departure from Austin.

Two crews have "volunteered" to split their crews during bus travel. 620-B-04 will split between the three busses from Austin to Philmont and 620-B-11 will split between busses on the way back to Austin. Crew Advisors for these crews should select the participants that will ride on each bus and give these names to the Contingent Advisor so bus rosters can be created.
