Final Contingent Organizational meeting:

The final organizational meeting WAS held Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Tarrytown United Methodist Church.

The purpose of this meeting was to:

  1. Review schedule/travel information.

  2. Distribute duffle bags.

  3. Distribute sectional maps (if they have been received from Philmont).

  4. Distribute final parent information/contact sheets.

  5. COLLECT ALL OUTSTANDING CREW PAPERWORK!  Note:  Paperwork was due June 8.

  6. Answer any questions.

Second Organizational meeting:

The second organizational meeting was held November 3, 2004 at Tarrytown United Methodist Church.

At this meeting, the 2005 Council & Unit Planning Guide, 2005 Philmont Medical Forms, copies of the TREKS 2004 Itinerary Guide book, and other information were distributed to crews.  We had a very good turnout for this meeting.

First Organizational meeting:

For the 2005 trek, the first organizational meeting was held Wednesday March 10, 2004.  Attendance was very good and there was some good interaction and a number of questions.

Meeting Location:

Most of our organizational meetings will be at Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin.  Because of the number of people attending, they are often in Room 101 a/b.  This room is on the lowest level of the new education wing.  Use the entrance on McCullough (through the breezeway between the new and old sections).  Enter the new education wing and take the elevator or stairs down to the lowest or "basement" level.  101 a/b is on the north side of the hallway.  Meeting notices will specify the exact location.

 

Tarrytown United Methodist Church is located at 2601 Exposition Blvd.  It is west of Mopac Blvd. and between the Westover Road and the Windsor Road exits.
