Final Contingent Organizational meeting:

The final organizational meeting was held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Tarrytown United Methodist Church. 

The purpose of this meeting was to:

  1. Review schedule/travel information.

  2. Distribute duffle bags.

  3. Distribute sectional maps.

  4. Distribute final parent information/contact sheets.

  5. COLLECT ALL OUTSTANDING CREW PAPERWORK!  Note:  This is the last opportunity to turn in crew paperwork -- anything outstanding must be delivered to Sid's house immediately.

  6. Answer any questions.

At least one adult leader from each crew was required to attend this meeting and pick up the box containing the crew's duffle bags and sectional maps.

Second Organizational meeting:

The second organizational meeting was held Thursday, November 16, 2006.

Each Crew Advisor received a binder with Philmont planning information and a CD with various information.  The 2007 Medical forms were distributed in the binders.

Meeting Location:

Most of our organizational meetings will be at Tarrytown United Methodist Church in Austin.  Because of the number of people attending, they are often in Room 101 a/b.  This room is on the lowest level of the new education wing.  Use the entrance on McCullough (through the breezeway between the new and old sections).  Enter the new education wing and take the elevator or stairs down to the lowest or "basement" level.  101 a/b is on the north side of the hallway.  Meeting notices will specify the exact location.

 

Tarrytown United Methodist Church is located at 2601 Exposition Blvd.  It is west of Mopac Blvd. and between the Westover Road and the Windsor Road exits.
