* Bus Leaders           NOTE: These assignments may change as crew rosters are received.

The busses will pick up and return to the Whole Earth Provision Company Parking lot in the Westgate Shopping Center (near Lamar Blvd. and US-71/290 in south Austin).  If you drive your car to the Whole Earth Provision Co. parking lot, please arrange to have it picked up as soon as possible.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR IN THE PARKING LOT WHILE WE ARE AT PHILMONT  ...  IT WILL BE TOWED!

UNIFORM:

Arrive at the bus meeting location wearing a full summer "Class-A" uniform.  You will wear this "Class A" uniform at all times while you are in public from the time you arrive at the bus until you reach Philmont and then again from the time you leave Philmont until you get off the bus in Austin on your return.  On the bus, while traveling, you will be able to remove your uniform shirt.  There may be occasions when you will be permitted t o leave the bus in a "Class B" uniform which means that the uniform shirt is removed and you will wear your crew's tee-shirt.

Once you reach Philmont, you will only need to be in uniform for certain meals, religious services, and campfires.  At other times you can wear whatever you choose as long as it is not objectionable and is appropriate for a Scouting setting.  Your crew tee shirt is preferred and that is what most crews wear.

You should pack all your trail equipment and clothing in your backpack and all your travel, base camp needs, and clothing in your contingent supplied duffle bag.  You will store your duffle bag (including your Class-A uniform) in lockers at Camping HQ while you are on the trail.  Your backpack will travel in the bus luggage compartment and will not be accessible during the bus rides.
