District
Leaders of the Capitol Area Council:
As you
know, the Resource Allocation and Service Delivery (RASD) Task Force
has been working with you to create the plan that will allow our
volunteer leaders and professional staff members to serve our Scouts
better - now and 20 years in the future. We thank you for the thought
you have put into evaluating our plan, and your suggestions on how to
make it better. Your input, plus the work of the 12 new district
nominating committees, will help us provide the Scouting experience to
more young people and their families.
Now that
we have the plan in place for Executive Board consideration, we want
to share with you the new district assignments for our professional
staff. We considered many scenarios, including those you brought to
the RASD committee after seeing the preliminary staffing concept at
the special council Key-3. All staff members were consulted before
making these assignments, which will become effective on January 1,
2008:
